Application Preliminaries

All Chamberre musicians must be at least 18 years of age.

Minors (people under 18 years of age) are permitted at the camp only as non-participating guests, and only if in the presence of an adult parent, guardian, or supervisor at all times.

Minors must apply as a member in the family/roommate group category. A family/roommate group with minor members can be housed only in a private cabin with bathroom, or offsite.

Up to 4 members of a family/roommate group can be housed together, with the housing preference chosen by the “first member.” Each “additional member” of a family/roommate group must be named by the “first member.”

If the family/roommate group wants to stay in a private cabin with bathroom, then only the listed “first member” will be invoiced for the $155 upgrade. If the family/roommate group wants to stay in a dormitory-style cabin, they must identify as the same gender and have no members who are minors.

No discounts are made for lodging offsite.

Those participants staying through Sunday dinner may stay overnight in their cabins and leave Monday morning with no extra charge, although breakfast will not be served. Checkout time is 9:00 A.M.

If the private cabins with bathrooms become oversubscribed, preference will be given to applicants in the following order:

  • Applicants indicating health or mobility reasons for wanting a private cabin with bathroom
  • Family/roommate groups in order of largest number of members to smallest number
  • Roommate groups in order of largest number of members to smallest number
  • Individuals

If we are unable to accommodate your housing preference, we will automatically offer you the next best thing, with a concomitant price reduction if applicable.

Once you submit your application, we will review it to make sure your experience level is compatible with other Chamberre musicians, and to make sure we can honor your requests before sending you an email invoice. You might be contacted if we need further information.

If you have questions, contact Lee Smith at musicmountainman@chamberre.org.

Application Form Mechanics

Complete one application per individual, including minors (people under 18 years of age)

Responses are required to all questions except where noted.

Depending on your answers, some questions will be irrelevant and thus will not be presented. Hence the gaps in the question numbering.

Some questions are expecting a response. If you skip one of these, follow-on questions related to this question won’t appear.

Before submitting the Application Form, if you close or navigate away from the Apply page to elsewhere on the Chamberre site, your answers will not be saved. You can, however, click on other tabs or windows in your browser and come back to the tab with the Apply page. Your entries should still be there. It is best to (re)open the Apply page in a new window or tab. Then you can go to other pages on the Chamberre site under the original window or tab, and come back to the Apply page in the new window or tab.

You can print this form with the “print…” command under File. If you have a print-to-pdf virtual printer (like CutePDF Writer), you can print and save it electronically as a pdf file.

Print the form before you click the Submit button, because it disappears after you click the Submit button. We will nonetheless send you a copy by email.

DO NOT HIT THE ENTER KEY AFTER TYPING IN ANY SINGLE-LINE FIELD*. JUST CLICK IN THE NEXT FIELD, OR HIT THE TAB KEY.

*Hitting the Enter key in these fields will prematurely submit the form. If this happens, just start and submit another Application Form. We will see your previous incomplete form and delete it.

In the multi-line fields, such as the emergency contact fields, press Enter at the end of each line to start a next line or paragraph. This will not prematurely submit the form.

CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON ONLY WHEN YOU ARE DONE.
